"Love this product. It was an absolute life saver in hospital, the noise calmed baby, while the light allowed me to change and feed without turning on the main lights, startling baby and disturbing the mother next to me."

"Perfect for what we needed. Portable white noise, easy to use and will also be good for the future when our four month old grows as you can use the Bluetooth feature."
— Sarah B. (5/5)
"Honestly I didn’t know I needed this until I had it. My daughter is 1 and thought it might be a waste to buy a white noise machine at this age! But honestly I wish I purchased earlier! I’ve always just used my phone to play white noise when on the go! But finding this gem with sound detection to automatically play is genius! We took this away and worked an absolute treat in our hotel room to resettle and while out for dinner when she was trying to sleep in the pram."
— Nicole K. (5/5)
"We use it for night time feeds. It has a nice soft yellow light that’s bright enough to see what you are doing. Also comes in 3 levels of brightness which is great! The shushing feature works a treat! We use it at home and on the go. Highly recommend!"
— Pisces (5/5)
"We were gifted this from our baby shower. We started using it a week ago which it was working perfectly but then it started making a cracking sound with the music now the music options aren’t working at all. The light is working but that’s it. We have ensured it fully charged and volume up but nothing. Very sad as it was life changing at the start"
— Chelsea (2/5)
"I’m not sure if this doesn’t work or what’s going on but it is extremely hard to use. Pressing down the music doesn’t come on. Neither do the sounds. Then suddenly it will start working. I’ve had a few sleep machines this one is not good. I’ve asked customer service to contact me."
— Ashling (1/5)
"I am excited for my future nephew to use all the products that I bought."
— fredalyn l. (5/5)
"Very compact and cute sleep machine. Lots of functionality and features which is great. Also doubles up as a night light with warm white or red colour. I find the battery lasts long too which is great. The only downside is the music button can be a bit delayed when trying to turn it on, when you're half asleep at night it can be a bit tricky to navigate."
— Zoe S. (4/5)
"I was disappointed to find out if you use the night light and the sound together it goes flat before the night is even over, not great when dealing with sleep regression and buying a tool you think is going to last as advertised (22 hours). It also needs daily charging, only working 12-14 hours max with sound alone. The buttons are loud so if you try to turn the light off before bed once the baby is down you risk waking them up even over the white noise. You shouldn’t advertise certain features if it’s not true, I feel tricked and unhappy with my purchase and the money I spent."
— Darcy (2/5)
"Lots of options"

These real moments show how gentle white noise supports calmer bedtimes and sweeter dreams.
There is no strict rule, as every child is different. Many parents choose to continue using a baby white noise machine well into the toddler years, as the consistent sound helps create a familiar sleep cue. However, if you wish to phase it out, some experts suggest you can start gradually lowering the volume and eventually the duration once your child is consistently self-soothing or around 18 months to 2 years old.
For safety and optimal hearing development, the volume of a white noise machine should be kept low. It is recommended to keep the volume at 50 decibels (dBA) or lower and position the machine at least 7 feet (2 metres) away from your baby's head. For context, 50 dBA is about the loudness of a quiet conversation. The Love To Dream Sleep Machine offers 16 adjustable volume levels, giving you precise control to ensure safe usage. Please note if using bluetooth, the volume control will be controlled by your alternative device and it is recommended to adjust accordingly.
Yes! Thanks to the Bluetooth connectivity feature, your sleep machine can easily be used as a high-quality speaker to play your little one's favourite lullabies, stories, songs, and podcasts directly from your phone or tablet. This dual function extends the usefulness of your device well beyond the infant stage and can be a great way to support quiet time as your toddler transitions out of naps.
White noise contains every frequency audible to the human ear in equal amounts, creating a humming sound. It often sounds like a high-pitched ‘shhh’, as our brain amplifies the higher-pitched region of the noise. White noise is considered soothing for some children and an effective tool for sleep, as it creates a constant background sound that helps to mask other disruptive sounds. People often liken white noise to the static that comes from an untuned radio or television. Learn more about white noise.
Every child is different; some will respond well to white noise while others may not.
Every child is different. Some parents and caregivers choose to wean their baby off white noise by the time they are four years old. However, white noise can be used at any age and some adults also find it useful for sleep. Always make sure to follow safe sleep guidelines and never exceed 50 decibels.
Eighty percent of babies under 6 weeks of age won't sleep through and will often wake multiple times during the night. Most babies will sleep through from about 8-9 months of age, but this varies. It’s very common to feel frustrated and unable to cope when you’re having trouble mastering the art of baby sleep. Learn more about the reasons why your baby is waking up and how to cope.
