Finding the perfect product for your child is a simple 4 step process: 1. To select the right sleep garment for your child, identify their developmental stage first. Is your baby still in the newborn swaddling stage? Select one of our Swaddle Up™ products. Has your child shown signs of trying to roll over, then choose one of our Transition Bags/Suits. If your child is already mobile and on the move then our Sleep Bags and Sleep Suits are right for you. 2. Once you’ve determined the right developmental stage, you need to determine the room temperature of the room your child sleeps in. Based on that temperature you can choose the right TOG and fabric grade. 3. Select from a number of fabrics, prints, colours. 4. Choose your child’s size.

Layer based on room temperature: in warm rooms (24°C+), a short-sleeve vest under a 0.2 TOG is sufficient. In cooler rooms (18–21°C), add a long-sleeve bodysuit under a 1.0 or 2.5 TOG. Always check your baby's chest or back (not hands or feet) to gauge warmth. If it feels clammy or hot, remove a layer.

As a general rule, go lighter in summer and heavier in winter: 0.2 TOG for hot nights, 1.0 TOG for mild autumn and spring weather, and 2.5–3.5 TOG for cold winter nights. Every home is different, so use our TOG guide to find the exact rating for your baby's room temperature. If you're between TOGs, adjust with a layer underneath rather than sizing up.

The Love to Dream™ 3-stage sleep system takes your baby from birth to 4 years with products designed for each sleep phase: Stage 1 (Swaddle Up™, 0–3 months), Stage 2 (Transition Bags/Suits, 3–12 months), and Stage 3 (Sleep Bags/Suits, 6 months–4 years). Stage 1 is designed for newborns aged 0–3 months who benefit from secure swaddling to calm the startle reflex. If your baby is under 3 months and not yet rolling, Stage 1 is the right place to start.

Stage 2 is for babies aged 3–6 months who are beginning to roll and need their arms free. The Swaddle Up™ Transition Bag has zip-off wings so you can gradually free one arm, then both, making the move away from swaddling gradual and less disruptive to sleep. Start transitioning as soon as your baby shows the first signs of rolling, regardless of age.
