How to use a Love to Dream Swaddle Up?
To use a Love to Dream Swaddle Up™, the process is designed to be much simpler than traditional wrapping. Since it’s a "zip-up" design, you don't need to worry about complex folds or loose layers.
Here is a simple step-by-step guide to getting a secure fit:
- The "Arms Up" Position: Place your baby on a flat surface and lay the swaddle down open. Place your baby inside, ensuring their arms are positioned in the "wings" at the top. This allows them to sleep in their natural Arms Up™ position.
- Zip and Secure: Zip the swaddle up to the top. The Swaddle Up™ is designed to be snug around the torso to mimic a "familiar hug," which helps support the startle reflex.
- That's it!
Fit Check Tip: Check the Neckline
Ensure the fabric is flat against your baby’s chest and that the neck hole fits comfortably. Our designs include a zip guard at the top to protect your baby’s chin and delicate skin from irritation.
How to use the Two-Way Zip for Changes
If you need to change a diaper during the night:
- Unzip from the bottom toward the middle.
- Gently pull your baby's legs out while keeping their arms and chest snug and warm in the top half.
- Once finished, tuck the legs back in and zip back down.

The Swaddle Up™ is safe to use from birth. To ensure the swaddle fits correctly, we recommend choosing a size based on your baby’s current weight and height rather than age.
The Swaddle Up is available from 2.2kg all the way up to 8.5kg so suitable from newborn to approximately 3 months or when baby is starting to show signs of rolling.
