The fit should be snug

A snug fit around the arms and torso helps calm the Moro/Startle Reflex. The neck hole should fit closely and comfortably without being restrictive (you should be able to get 1 to 2 fingers in the neck hole). The neck hole must not be able to pass up and over the baby's mouth. For the best fit, please select the size based on your child's weight, not their height or age.

What is the 3-stage sleep system?

Our 3-stage safe sleep system™ is designed to support your child's sleep routine from newborn to four years old. Stage 1 Newborn Swaddling = Swaddle Up™ Recommended from birth. Stage 2 Ready To Roll = Transition Bags and Suits Recommended for 3-12 months. Stage 3 On the Move = Sleep Bags and Suits Recommended for 6 months-4 years.

How do I choose the right product for my child?

Finding the perfect product for your child is a simple 4 step process: 1.To select the right sleep garment for your child, identify their developmental stage first. Is your baby still in the newborn swaddling stage? Select one of our Swaddle Up™ products. Has your child shown signs of trying to roll over, then choose one of our Transition Bags/Suits. If your child is already mobile and on the move then our Sleep Bags and Sleep Suits are right for you. 2. Once you’ve determined the right developmental stage, you need to determine the room temperature of the room your child sleeps in. Based on that temperature you can choose the right TOG. 3. Select from a number of fabrics, prints, colours. 4. Choose your child’s size.

What is a TOG?

We believe the simplest way to make sure your baby is suitably dressed is to dress for room temperature. At Love to Dream we use the industry-recognised measurement system, called TOG. TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade and helps simplify the process of choosing the right garment/s for your baby. To best dress for different room temperatures and ensure you select the right Love to Dream product follow these two simple steps: 1. Prior to selecting a Love to Dream product we would recommend having a good understanding of the temperature of your baby’s room. 2. Always look for the ideal room temperature guidance on our products and website to help your selection.

How should I dress my baby under the Love to Dream™ products.

Overheating has been linked to SIDS so it is very important to ensure your baby does not overheat. Our products have been designed to eliminate multiple layers of wrapping. The table below provides you with guidelines around how to dress your baby based on the room temperature.
