TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade and is an industry-recognised measurement for the warmth of garments and bedding. Put simply: The lower the TOG rating, the lighter the fabric. The higher the TOG rating, the warmer the fabric. Below are guidelines around how to dress your baby/toddler based on the room temperature. This is only a guide. "Honestly, all our Love to Dream sleep sacks we purchased have been a great success. After my baby was born it took me a lot of research and testing out different swaddles until we found the Love to Dream sleepwear and they have been a lifesaver. We will continue using them as our baby is growing up. Our baby has been through some major sleep regression stages and the Moro reflex has also given her hard times but she has been sleeping so much better in the sleepwear and as a result it helped mommy get some rest too. I highly would recommend these products to everyone!"

"Our little one loves this swaddle and it has been welcome in this heatwave! The transition model is great giving you the option to introduce being hands free. The fabric is great and breathable. Our little one sleeps like a dream in this and the two way zip is perfect for night time nappy changes."
— Harkamal P. (5/5)
"The perfect thickness for this ridiculous UK heat wave. She settles so well in the transition bag and it makes sleep so much better not only for her, but for me too. She’s able to still cuddle up with me without being too sticky and sweaty against my skin. Definitely recommend to other families!"
— Amieshia H. (5/5)
"Extremely soft, easy to use, the right size/fitting for our little boy! We love that there’s a variety of colours/patterns! We’ll continue to use 🥰 Quick and easy ordering & delivery"
— Natalie (5/5)
"Lovely soft fabric and I love the star design! I tried it for the first time last night and she went straight to sleep in it! It allowed her to have her arms up without waking her up when she jolted so it still has the swaddle effect!"
— Kayleigh (5/5)
"Only thing my baby’s ever slept in and he loves it he won’t sleep in any other brands swaddle / sleep bags 100% recommend these swaddles for anyone 0. 2 tog good for summer with nappy or vest 1 tog I use with long sleeve vest"
— Jessica S. (5/5)
"This transition swaddle bag was amazing. It took two weeks for my little girl to transition and now she sleeps perfectly with both arms out. It is beautiful soft material with a lovely soft design, I’m so happy I purchased this and wish I don’t it sooner, I highly recommend if your baby loves a swaddle. The thin tog worked great as I had it under her thicker sleepsuit."
— Caitlin H. (5/5)
"These swaddles are perfect for the summer heat. My little one only likes these swaddles and it helps us out a lot because he sleeps so well in it."
— Nadia (5/5)
"It too my babe about 1 week to adjust to this but IT WORKS. I have a baby that didn’t like having his arms bundled down, so I tried this and it did the trick. No joke by baby sleeps like 6-8 hours a night and this is partially why. Thank you! Great design."
— grace e. (5/5)
"My baby is an arms up sleeper. So we find he settled better in the love to dream swaddle than traditional swaddle. We have just started taking an arm out while he is sleeping and the stransition swaddle is great as we can rotate which arm is our during naps"
— Brianne G. (5/5)
It is time to stop swaddling as soon as your baby shows signs of being able to roll over.
Other indicators include kicking their legs up high, pushing up on their hands during tummy time, or reaching for their toes. At this stage, it is safer to gradually transition to an "arms-out" sleep solution.
The Swaddle Up™ Transition Bag makes the milestone of transitioning from swaddling easy.
It features a versatile 2-in-1 design with zip-off wings to take you from swaddle to arms-free sleep. You can start by removing one wing to let one arm out, then the other a few nights later.
Once both wings are removed, it becomes a sleeveless sleep bag, providing a familiar sleep cue while allowing for safer, free movement.
Your baby is ready to transition to arms out sleeping when they start showing signs of rolling.
They might be kicking their legs up high, pushing up on their hands during tummy time, or reaching for their toes. At this stage, it is safer to transition to an "arms-out" sleep solution.
