The higher the TOG rating, the warmer the fabric. Below are guidelines around how to dress your baby/toddler based on the room temperature. This is only a guide. "We’ve been using the Love to Dream sleep bag for a while now, and it has been amazing for our baby. The material is soft, comfortable, and breathable, which keeps my baby cozy throughout the night without overheating. Most importantly, my baby sleeps so much better in it and stays settled for longer stretches at night. The design also makes diaper changes easier and more convenient. Definitely worth it for better sleep for both baby and parents!"

"I am so happy with the love to dream transition bag, so many products for babies have such a short time in use due to quickly growing babies so it’s great that this doubles up! The quality is amazing, the tog is perfect for the warmer weather and the tog guide makes me feel safe when putting my baby to sleep. The sleeves are super easy to detach and once they are off the bag is still comfortable (no rough zips)."
— Lisa S. (5/5)
"Loving the quality and feel of the LTD transition bags. They stay soft and in shape after multiple rounds in the washing machine and tumble dryer! We love the zip off wings and the fact we will be able to keep using them even after our daughter starts rolling!"
— Bethany (5/5)
"I’ve had my son in the Love To Dream swaddles since birth, and have just started transitioning him as he has started to roll. He hated the “traditional” swaddles and escaped within minutes, so I knew I needed a safe alternative. Love To Dream is exactly that, and I couldn’t recommend your products more!"
— Snezana M. (5/5)
"Absolutely love this swaddle! The pattern is cute, neutral for baby boy/gitl. My baby has been using Love To Dream since newborn and refuses any other brand 😂 He loves having his arms up while sleeping and always sleeps so much better in this. The 1. 5 TOG is perfect for cooler nights (I follow the fuide to dress my baby based on the temperature that day)— keeps him warm without overheating. The material is soft, stretchy, and still looks great after many washes. Definitely one of the best baby purchases for us. Highly recommend for babies who hate having their arms down/swaddled tight!"

"We’ve absolutely loved the Love to Dream Swaddle Up Transition Bag. The 1. 5 TOG Olive Twigs design is beautiful and the fabric feels so soft and high quality. It’s made transitioning from swaddling so much easier and has really helped our little one sleep more comfortably and settle quicker at bedtime. I also love that it allows safe movement while still keeping baby feeling secure and cosy. The quality has held up really well after washing too. Definitely one of our favourite sleep products and something I’d happily recommend to other parents! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"Our baby has been a great sleeper in the Love to Dream swaddle and we worried about letting her arms out when she started rolling, but she had no issue at all when using the transition swaddle. We unzipped both wings one night and she still slept through the night as everything was the same but the wings."
— Julia L. (5/5)
"An absolute essential for all parents. LTD swaddles have allowed my baby to sleep through the night from 9 weeks. I love that they have a 1. 5 tog sleeping bag (I haven’t seen a brand that does) and the convenience of buying the transition bag when they are on the cusp of rolling is 10/10!"
— Tayla H. (5/5)
"Had to purchase these transition swaddles for our baby boy. He has loved the love to dream swaddles from birth, and these transition swaddles meant for a smooth transition to both arms out now that he is showing signs of starting to roll. Perfect tog for spring time too and the prints are gorgeous as always!"

It is time to stop swaddling as soon as your baby shows signs of being able to roll over.
Other indicators include kicking their legs up high, pushing up on their hands during tummy time, or reaching for their toes. At this stage, it is safer to gradually transition to an "arms-out" sleep solution.
The Swaddle Up™ Transition Bag makes the milestone of transitioning from swaddling easy.
It features a versatile 2-in-1 design with zip-off wings to take you from swaddle to arms-free sleep. You can start by removing one wing to let one arm out, then the other a few nights later.
Once both wings are removed, it becomes a sleeveless sleep bag, providing a familiar sleep cue while allowing for safer, free movement.
