The fit should be snug
A snug fit around the arms and torso helps calm the Moro/Startle Reflex. The neck hole should fit closely and comfortably without being restrictive (you should be able to get 1 to 2 fingers in the neck hole). The neck hole must not be able to pass up and over the baby's mouth.

What is a TOG Rating?
TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade and is an industry-recognised measurement for the warmth of garments and bedding. Put simply: The lower the TOG rating, the lighter the fabric. The higher the TOG rating, the warmer the fabric. Below are guidelines around how to dress your baby/toddler based on the room temperature. This is only a guide. The number of clothing layers may vary according to a baby's health, their physiology & the temperature in the room.

During the delicate newborn stage, selecting the right Love to Dream swaddle size is crucial for both comfort and safety. Our swaddles are designed to mimic the cosy embrace of the womb, promoting better sleep for your little one. Consider factors such as weight, rather than age when choosing a size.
What does TOG mean?
Put simply: The lower the TOG rating, the lighter the fabric. The higher the TOG rating, the warmer the fabric. This 1.0 TOG is ideal for MODERATE room temperatures between 20°C to 24°C.
